Exciting first step!!
It's the first time I used an X-pan II; I chose Fuji's Xtra 400 as it is a fine-grain, high-speed negative film that's probably most suitable for X-pan's low-speed lens (f4 45mm) which also often shows vegnetting.
I haven't yet had much time to bring this new toy outside during the daytime, so I shot a lot of nightviews to test the lens' flare control by the way; that is probably a bad habit as Leica M lens I normally use has raised my judging hurdle to an extremely high level. But I have been pretty happy with the 45mm lens' performance after seeing the first roll being developed. Flare is basically well under-control and there is no obvious stray light. However, reproduction of fine details in the dark area under sever light condition is merely acceptable. I think Leica's M lens significantly outperform here.
Let's see the pictures...

The roof garden of my company
Corner of office; looking down Neihu residential area
Another corner
This is to test vegnetting;
software tells me: exposure at the corner is almost 2 steps darker than in the centre
This is to test my panorama composition (keeping the horizon level)
(enlarged picture also shows satisfactory refined-details of the leaves)

Nice shots!!
+:
Old and new VWs.
The images in the dress shop look professional!!

You buy this great camera for a long time but you conceal it from Each, Hank, and me!!
alright~ i admit it's not just another "new toy"; it's really great to spot our living room this way...
the Butchart one indeed looks better than if shot with a wide-angle lens.
"old and new VWs" and "carp curtain" are also eye-catching!!
